There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Baker Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Capitol Reef Resort is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and needless to say Durfey Creek flows through this region. A tremendous nearby hotel is Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P., and close by you find the Aquarius Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here       at Baker Lake is Pleasant Creek Campground, and Trail Point is in the vicinity and always nice to stop by. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Baker Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Baker Lake are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Fremont River, and going for a hike on the Boulder Mail Trail                  is always a great adventure. The Pollywog Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Baker Lake. Camping at Oak Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience, and don’t forget to stop at Baker Pasture while you're here at Baker Lake.
