B-29 Lake is pretty dried out generally; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is November. Krebs Basin is a wonderful site any time of year, and Riverview Campground is a great campground nearby. B-29 Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Just can't get enough of B-29 Lake. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Carrol Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; a delightful

| | spot is Roberts Pass. At B-29 Lake you can spot Mount Emmons, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Shale Dugway is always a nice adventure, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Inn is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from B-29 Lake to see the water at Lake Atwood Dam; tremendous hiking is available along the High Line Trail. | |

Throughout the warm months at B-29 Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at B-29 Lake
dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Uinta Mountains has it all. Go for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail; almost certainly you're
looking for close by lakes? Sure, Oke Doke Lake is just a very short distance away. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Uinta Mountains. You can run the rapids of Uinta River right next door to B-29 Lake; Swift Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground.

Chepeta Lake
 | 18 miles away Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake. Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next. The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since. Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot.... |
