Just can't get enough of Auger Hole Lake. Camping is available at Escalante State Park. Throughout the days of summer at Auger Hole Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Auger Hole Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you're here at Auger Hole Lake, you could stop at West       Branch Pine Creek, and not far from Auger Hole Lake you get some great water scenery at Roundy Reservoir Dam. If you need a spot to stay Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P. is a pleasant choice; the Aquarius Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wonderland Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and there's perfect hiking along the Pollywog Lake Trail. Auger Hole Lake is pretty dry frequently; August is                  when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
