There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Uinta Mountains. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Aspen Spring, and the Lowline Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Green River. All through the summertime highs here at Association Reservoir reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Throughout the       wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Association Reservoir temperatures drop to the 0's. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Association Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Downtown is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Vernal. Around Association Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; April                  is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Dutch Charles Draw is always fun, and Association Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Red Spring Campground is a glorious local campground. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Uinta Mountains. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Association Reservoir called the Little Hole Trail, and a great location to camp here at Association Reservoir is East Park Campground. If you need a place to stay Best Western Dinosaur Inn is a great choice, and why not take a little trip to Bassett Creek while you're here. Association Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains.
