This lake is one of the great places here in the Book Cliffs. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Price River, and if you came for an overnight stay El Rancho Motel and RV Campground is a tremendous location to camp. Summertime at Andersons Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in       the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Andersons Reservoir temperatures drop to the-10's. It is very arid here at Andersons Reservoir ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is June. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Book Cliffs. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Fish Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth                  taking a look at. Lakes are great; Sky-high Pond is a lake that's close to Andersons Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hillview RV Park Campground while you're here at Andersons Reservoir, and you're probably hooked on lakes, South Reservoir is one of those nearby. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Book Cliffs. A great close by hotel is Greenwell Inn & Convention Center, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Price here.
