    Go to Anderson Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Having a brilliant time in the Uinta Mountains is trouble-free. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Skinner Cutoff Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Anderson Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Anderson Lake; Highline Trail is a nice local trail; you'll meet a lot of people from Evanston here. At Anderson Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets  
   in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Anderson Lake.
A magnificent spot to have a look at near Anderson Lake is Dead Horse Pass, and why not camp at South Fork Campground since you're here at Anderson Lake. There's fine hiking along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and camping at Anderson Lake is brilliant fun, Yellow Pine Campground is a brilliant local
 
               campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Continent Lake near Anderson Lake, it's a stunning lake, and Rock Creek is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. At Anderson Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally September, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Uinta Mountains has to offer. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blacks Fork - West Fork, and you can see Explorer Peak from Anderson Lake.
