Alma Taylor Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too splendid to be true. At Alma Taylor Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites VERNAL ? DINOSAURLAND       is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and close by you come across the Icy Hill Dugway which is a good hiking trail. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Alma Taylor Lake. SUPER 8 MOTEL - VERNAL is a tremendous place to get some rest; if you're here at Alma Taylor Lake it's a splendid idea to check out Charleys Park. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. If you came to camp Kaler Hollow Campground                  is a magnificent place to do that, and folks from Vernal love to come here. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Alma Taylor Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Alma Taylor Lake drop into the 10's. A journey to Bodily Spring will fill your spirit with perfect feelings, and going for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail is always a great adventure.
