If you are in Summit county it's always a good idea to stop by Allsop Lake. So much exciting stuff in the vicinity of Allsop Lake, completely mind-blowing. If the weather is nice here at Allsop Lake, you can go for a hike along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and going for a hike along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains.

| | Whitewater paddling is good on Rock Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Allsop Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Fork Campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Allsop Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Evanston, and a wonderful view of beautiful The Cathedral is available.

and the Highline Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
You clearly have to fancy the Uinta Mountains. Allsop Lake is a location that is reasonably arid frequently; most of the rain falls during September; January on the
other hand is the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Bench Lake, and you can stay the night at Little Lyman Lake Campground.
