If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Alkali Lake. Alkali Lake is not the only site close by, Pine Creek Reservoir is a close by lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Alkali Lake; Pollywog Lake Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you feel like a little side trip, try Dark Valley, and a journey to Capitol Reef National Park is worthwhile.

Around Alkali Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Alkali Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's.
A good nearby hotel is Days Inn; why not take a refreshing hike along the Stair Trail. If you need a site to stay Cowboy Homestead
is a great choice; there's great hiking along the Aquarius Trail. There are some nice whitewater spots on Fremont River; camping at Thousand Lakes RV Park is always a magnificent experience.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy
this spot. Pine Creek Reservoir Dam is an exciting thing to check out; Alkali Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rimrock Rustic Inn is a nice local campground.
