There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Youngblood Lake called the Hill Country State Natural Area Trail; Pomarosa RV       Park is a great campground nearby. All through the summertime, highs commonly are in the 90's at Youngblood Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Youngblood Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
