This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Riverside RV Park is always a glorious experience, and Willis Lake Dam is not far at all from Willis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Willis Lake while night lows are typically in the 60's. Throughout       the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Willis Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. If you get bored of Willis Lake, you could also stop at nearby Lake New Ingram, and a good close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. The yearly rain here at Willis Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest of the months is December. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in                  close proximity to Willis Lake. North Fork Guadalupe River is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and Willis Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Ingram Lake RV Park is a tremendous local campground. Moore Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out, and good hiking is available along the Kerr Wildlife Management Area Trail.
