The yearly precipitation here at Willingham Lake is about average; through October this area sees the most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Willingham Lake is not far at all from Uvalde. This lake is so wonderful. The Garner State Park Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Willingham Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Quail Springs RV Park is a glorious place for that. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Continental Inn is a tremendous choice, and you can stay the night at Park Chalk Bluff. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites UVALDE is a pleasant location to get some rest, and Frio River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. You can take a little spree to Willingham Lake Dam if you're here at Willingham Lake, and                  in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dry Frio River. High temperatures at Willingham Lake during the warm months are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's.
