The beauty of Wildcat Lake is reason enough to stop by. A tremendous location to camp here at Wildcat Lake is Buchanan Village RV Park, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Wildcat Dam. The yearly precipitation here at Wildcat Lake is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.

| | at Wildcat Lake, you can go for a hike along the Canyon of the Eagles Trail, and do pop by Bee Creek while you're here at Wildcat Lake. Near Wildcat Lake you stumble on the Colorado Bend State Park Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; float down the rapids of Colorado River in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Hill Country Lodge & Mini Stge. is a brilliant choice, and the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.

the summertime are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Wildcat Lake sink into the 30's. A lake close by is Indian Lake; dry warm beds await you at Canyon of The Eagles.
