At White Lake you always meet someone from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, and why not a little side journey to Big Fossil Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lakeview Mobile Home Cmnty is a great location to do that; if you've had enough of White Lake, Meadows Lakes East Lake is nearby. But       wait, there's more to do near White Lake. Good hiking is available along the Walnut Grove Trail, and close to White Lake you hit upon a golf course called Meadowbrook Golf Course. Hiking is a popular thing to do around White Lake; Loyd Park Trail is a nice local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns & Suites Fort Worth/Haltom City. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inn-Stes Ft Wort is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Trinity River - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Fosdic Lake if you're here at White Lake; it's nearby; soar down the rapids of Trinity River - Clear Fork in a kayak. Camping at Redwood Estates Mobile Home Park is always a tremendous experience. The yearly precipitation here at White Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. All through the summer highs here at White Lake get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 70's.
