If you're into cool geologic features, try Hudson Bow; if you came to camp Shady Pines RV Park is a great site to do that. You'll meet a lot of people from Texarkana here, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Little Red Lake. All through the summer highs here at Whaley Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to       the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Whaley Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Whaley Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Texarkana, and going for a hike on the Atlanta State Park Trail is always a fine adventure. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NEW                  BOSTON is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Applewhite Cut-off Lake is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Whaley Lake. Hubbard Slough is a swamp next to Whaley Lake; close by you locate the Rocky Point Park Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Take a little tour to Jack Creek if you're here at Whaley Lake.
