Wash Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is August. Camping at Twin Dikes Marina is always a great experience, and Super 8 Motel Jasper TX is a splendid place to get some rest. Throughout the summer months at Wash Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into       the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Wash Lake are in the 30's. Why not check out a swamp like Bee Tree Swamp while you're here at Wash Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Jasper. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Wash Lake, you can go for a hike along the Old River Woodland Trail, and Lynch Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Wash Lake. You                  just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Wash Lake has to offer. On a nice day at Wash Lake you can take a hike along the Martin Dies State Park Trail; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Moon Lake. Camping is available at Beech Grove Campground; there's a forest here called Pine Woods. This lake is so wonderful.
