A perfect location to camp here at Waltrip Lake is University RV Park, and there's always Waltrip Lake Dam to check out in the neighborhood of Waltrip Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All through the days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Waltrip Lake. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at                  Waltrip Lake fall into the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Navasota, and Waltrip Lake is right by the Washington - on - the - Brazos State Historic Site Trail.
