High temperatures at Walters Lake through the summertime months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows at Walters Lake during the winter generally drop into the 20's. Get wet paddling on Guadalupe River, and there are other places here than Walters Lake, for example Walters Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
