If you are in Parker county it's always a good idea to stop by Walsh Lake. Through the long summer days here at Walsh Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Walsh Lake dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Trinity

| | River - West Fork, and Best Western Fort Worth Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest. Here at Walsh Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from Granbury, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Crosstimbers Trail.

Lake. There's so much to do here at Walsh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cowtown RV Park is a perfect place for that, and while you're here you can play some golf at Split Rail Golf Club. Walsh Lake is great enough to
spend more than a day at, Big Bend Motor Inn and RV Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Ramada Limited is a great choice.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Walsh Lake; the wettest month
of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Benbrook Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure. Why not
visit Walsh Lake Dam if you're here, and close by you locate the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails which is a good hiking trail.
