Going for a hike along the Benbrook Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Trinity River - Clear Fork. If you came to camp Big Bend Motor Inn and RV Campground is a perfect spot to do that; hiking along the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails is splendid fun. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fort Worth Inn & Suites.       An average amount of rainfall falls at Walsh Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. A round of golf at nearby Split Rail Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River - West Fork. Walsh Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Little Marys Creek is a pleasant local stream, and Walsh                  Lake is right by the Crosstimbers Trail. Summertime at Walsh Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Walsh Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Walsh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cowtown RV Park is a delightful site for that, and Ramada Limited is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Granbury here, and a beautiful lake like Haywire Lake Number 2 is a perfect spot to have a look at.
