Float down the rapids of Rowlett Creek in a kayak, and the Trinity Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. There are plenty of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington here at Wallace Lake, obviously you could also check out Rockwall Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. During the summertime highs here at Wallace Lake get into the 90's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, mostly in the 70's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows through the winter for Wallace Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's so much to do here at Wallace Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Plantation Place RV Resort is a magnificent place for that, and Brockway Branch is in the vicinity of Wallace Lake and is always a bliss to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rockwall is a magnificent choice; if the weather is great, you                  can go for a hike along the Wylie Community Park Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Duck Creek offers some great whitewater, and nearby you find the Sister Grove Park Trail which is a great hiking trail.
