Walk Lake is a lake worth visiting. Walk Lake gets very little rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. If time allows, Amistad National Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit; a fine close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Walk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Amistad RV Park is a good location for that, and folks from Del Rio

High temperatures at Walk Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.
