Through the summertime months here at Vernon Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 70's. Cade lake is one of three man made lakes in Cade lake estates, a development of the 70's era that went very badly. It is located approximately 4 miles east of Caldwell, TX off of FM 908. Today, Cade lake is a group of unimproved and unmaintained dirt roads. Mmany of which are impassible. Approximately 200 families live out here.
