There are plenty of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington here at Unicorn Lake; if you've had enough of Unicorn Lake, John Knox Village Lake is close by. Unicorn Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Furneaux Creek is so much fun, and going for a hike along the North Lakes Park Trail will let you absorb the natural

| | beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Galbraith Lake since you're here at Unicorn Lake; it's nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Unicorn Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silver Dome Mobile Park. The warmest time of the year at Unicorn Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Unicorn Lake | |

are in the 30's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Unicorn Lake. Hiking along the Pilot Knoll Trail is great fun, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Atrea Crown Chase Inn & Suites is a
good site to spend a night or two. If you need a place to stay Courtyard Denton is a magnificent choice, and Galbraith Lake Dam is not far at all from Unicorn Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Denton Creek, and Unicorn Lake
is right by the South Lakes Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Unicorn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Post Oak Place is a great site for that, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Texas Woman's University Golf Course.
