Unicorn Lake is a lake worth visiting. Through the days of summer at Unicorn Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 70's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Unicorn Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Furneaux Creek, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the

| | South Lakes Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Unicorn Lake is in close proximity to Galbraith Lake Dam which is a gorgeous place absolutely worth visiting, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Texas Woman's University Golf Course.

can do here at Unicorn Lake. There are good locations to look at along the North Lakes Park Trail, and Silver Dome Mobile Park is a great campground nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Unicorn Lake is close to the national
average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is when it's the driest.
There are some great whitewater spots on Denton Creek; if you need a place to stay Courtyard Denton is a tremendous choice. This
lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pilot Knoll Trail is always a pleasant adventure; a glorious close by hotel is Quality Inn And Suites.
