There are plenty of people from Beaumont-Port Arthur here at Twin Lakes, and hiking along the Tyrell Park Trail is tremendous fun. A large amount of precipitation falls at Twin Lakes; September is the wettest month with most rain while March is generally the driest month. If you need a place to stay Candlewood Suites BEAUMONT is a good choice, and Twin Lakes is wonderful enough to spend more than       a day at, Boomtown USA is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Candlewood Suites NEDERLAND, and camping at Circle Trailer Park is always a tremendous experience. Henry Homberg Municipal Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Twin Lakes, and the peak of Spindletop Hill can be seen from Twin Lakes. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do close to Twin Lakes. Put some time aside to spend                  at Spindletop Springs since you're here at Twin Lakes. Summertime highs at Twin Lakes mostly tend to be in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's.
