Through the warm days of summer at Tuck Lake highs are commonly in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's; through the dark hours in the winter at Tuck Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Bastrop, and why not a little side trip to Spicer Creek.       An average amount of precipitation falls at Tuck Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; August meanwhile is the driest month. Way Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Pines Trail. Take a hike on the Northern Loop Trail; a beautiful lake like Sanders Lake is a magnificent spot to visit. Bastrop River RV Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors                  Days Inn Bastrop is a delightful location to spend a night or two. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Tuck Lake. Lake Bastrop is a wonderful lake next to Tuck Lake, and Lost Pines Golf Club is a golf course nearby.
