A brilliant location to camp here at Trigg Lake is The Oaks RV Park. Trigg Lake is a good place of common rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You don’t have to go far from Trigg Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Trigg Lake Dam, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Southern Loop Trail. Whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Colorado River, and camping at Highway 71 RV Park is always a good experience. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Onion Creek, and Trigg Lake is not far at all from Austin-Round Rock. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and the Hornsby Bend Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. During the warmest                  time of the year here at Trigg Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and overnight lows during the winter for Trigg Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
