During your tour to Lake Travis you'll meet some folks from Austin-Round Rock for sure, and a lake close by is Apache Lake. The yearly precipitation here at Lake Travis is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Lake Travis generally tend to be in the 90's, and all through       summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Travis. Near Lake Travis you find delightful sites like Defeat Hollow, and the Pecan Grove Trail offers hiking at its best. So much amusing stuff right next door to Lake Travis, truly inspiring. Mansfield Dam is a stunning spot next to Lake Travis, and after a long day outdoors Vintage Villas is a pleasant                  place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. La Hacienda RV Park is a good campground nearby, and don't forget to take a glorious little visit to Bear Creek. If you need a spot to stay The Crossings is a good choice, and if you get bored of Lake Travis you could also stop by nearby Lake Travis. Having a splendid time at Lake Travis is simple. Why not go to Arrowhead Point also while you're here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bull Creek. A great site for whitewater paddling close to Lake Travis is Barton Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Travis Inn and RV Park is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Santa Monica Springs is always worthwhile; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Travis; Arkansas Bend Trail is a glorious local trail.
