Going for a hike along the Jordon Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a lake nearby is Sarles Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Tipps Lake. You don’t have to go far from Tipps Lake to make out the water at Tipps Lake Dam, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Elm Fork Greenbelt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A typical       amount of precipitation falls here at Tipps Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. If the weather is great here at Tipps Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ray Roberts Greenbelt Corridor Trail; SUPER 8 MOTEL - GAINESVILLE, TX is a great spot to get some rest. Tipps Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Ray Roberts State Park is a great local campground, and you'll almost certainly meet                  some people from Gainesville here. Don't forget to take a good little tour to Hackley Creek, and Tipps Lake is not the only site nearby, Lane Lake is a nearby lake. If you came to camp Lone Oak Recreational Vehicle Park is a good site to do that, and if you need a location to stay Valley View Inn and Suites is a great choice. At Tipps Lake through the summertime highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's.
