If you came for an overnight stay B J Recreational Vehicle Park is a splendid location to camp, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Chimneys Trail. Through the days of summer at Tinaja Grande temperatures       are ordinarily in the 100's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Tinaja Grande. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Rio Grande. Mesa de Anguila is painless to spot from Tinaja Grande, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Santa Elena Canyon Trail. It is                  very dried up here at Tinaja Grande ordinarily; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while March is ordinarily the driest month.
