Whitewater paddling is great on Denton Creek; after a long day outdoors Value Place Denton is a good site to spend a night or two. If you're visiting Tedrow Lake from Gainesville, you       won't be the only one, and a splendid site to camp here at Tedrow Lake is Texas RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Post Oak Place, and the Ray Roberts Greenbelt Corridor Trail offers hiking at its best. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Moores Branch flows through this vicinity, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Texas Woman's University Golf Course. Tedrow Lake is a good place of common rainfall;                  May is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month.
