Big Mineral Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Herman Baker Park Trail. Having a good time at Taylor Pond is easy. While you're here at Taylor Pond you can take a hike along the Eisenhower State Park Trail, and at Taylor Pond you always meet someone from Sherman-Denison. An average amount of rain falls at Taylor Pond; most of       the rain falls all through May; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Mills Marina and Resort is a nice campground nearby, and a magnificent close by hotel is Tanglewood Resort.
