Lakes are great; Mangum Lake Number 2 is a lake that's next to Taylor Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Rusaias Hole; a splendid site to camp here at Taylor Lake is Trailer Park 57. Knights Inn Eagle Pass is a splendid location to get some rest, and Amistad National Recreation Area is a great local destination. Taylor Lake is ordinarily a reasonably       dehydrated place; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Taylor Lake reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Taylor Lake. Camping is available at Rancho Escondido, and you can take a little spree                  to Taylor Lake Dam while you're here at Taylor Lake.
