You'll need more than a day to look at everything Taylor Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sherwood Forest RV Park. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Taylor Lake. When the night sets in       temperatures plunge down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Taylor Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. If the weather is perfect here at Taylor Lake, you can go for a hike along the Falls Trail, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A nice spot for whitewater paddling near Taylor Lake is Pedernales River.
