     Taylor Lake is a nice lake to visit. There's so much to do here at Taylor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sherwood Forest RV Park is a great spot for that; nearby you locate the Falls Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Pedernales River is a delightful whitewater spot next to Taylor Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Inks Lake State Park Trail. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world  
   it would be. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Johnson City Inn is a fine choice, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Freight Development Company Lake.
If you came to camp Miller Creek RV Park is a pleasant location to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rain falls at Taylor Lake; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is January.

               Barry Lake in the vicinity of Taylor Lake, it's a pretty lake, and the panorama of Big Mountain is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Taylor Lake is Sandy Creek; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail. During the days of summer at Taylor Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Taylor Lake plunge into the 30's.
