A visit to Tatum Lake is always a good idea. Blasingame Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. At Tatum Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Tatum Lake are in the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Johnson City Inn, and there's great hiking along the Pedernales Falls State Park Equestrian

| | Trails. There are some nice whitewater spots on Pedernales River, and tremendous hiking is available along the Guadalupe River State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tatum Lake Dam is a place that is right next door to Tatum Lake, and Tatum Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Blanco State Park is a tremendous local campground. State Park Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort is a nice choice; camping at River Oaks Riverfront RV Resort is always a perfect experience. From a
rainfall point of view Tatum Lake is a quite normal location; the month with most of the rain is May, and December meanwhile is the driest month.
