This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Bastrop River RV Park. From a precipitation point of view Tahitian Village Lake is a rather common site; May is when you get the most rain here while August is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Bastrop is a fine location to spend a       night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tahitian Village Lake; Southern Loop Trail is a good local trail. Through the long summer days at Tahitian Village Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 60's with temperatures at Tahitian Village Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. If you get bored of Tahitian Village Lake,                  you could also stop by nearby Bastrop State Park Lake, and perfect hiking is available along the Lost Pines Trail.
