All through the summer months at Stub Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Stub Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Chain-o-lakes Resort is always       a magnificent experience, and going for a hike along the Big Thicket - Woodlands Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Stub Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is August. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity of Stub Lake.
