At Straley Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Straley Lake. A good close by hotel is Country Hearth Inn and Suites Abilene, and if you get       bored of Straley Lake you could also stop by nearby Lake Coleman. Lick Branch is in close proximity to Straley Lake and is always a bliss to go to, and you can stay the night at Commanche Shores. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Straley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Straley Lake Dam if you're here at Straley Lake. There's so much to do here at Straley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead                  Campground and Recreation is a wonderful spot for that.
