Stewart Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All through the summer at Stewart Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; night lows through the wintertime for Stewart Lake tend to be in the 30's. At Stewart Lake you always meet someone from Austin-Round Rock, and hiking along the Hornsby Bend Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful.

This lake is so wonderful. The Homestead Trail offers hiking at its best, and some of the water nearby flows, like Cottonmouth Creek. You can run
the rapids of Onion Creek right next door to Stewart Lake, and Hilton Austin Airport is a splendid spot to get some rest. Colorado River is a perfect whitewater spot right next door to Stewart Lake. There's so much to do here at Stewart
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Royal Palms Mobile Home and RV Community is a tremendous location for that.
From a rain point of view Stewart Lake is a relatively typical site; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is mostly the driest month.
