For the period of the summertime at Stewart Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Stewart Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Town Lake is near Stewart Lake, and going for a hike along the Lower Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.       After a long day outdoors Hilton Austin Airport is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and if you've had enough of Stewart Lake, Capitol Cattle Company Lake Number 3 is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites; hiking along the Homestead Trail is delightful fun. The amount of precipitation that falls at Stewart Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's                  the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Cottonmouth Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and Stewart Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Royal Palms Mobile Home and RV Community is a nice location to camp nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. For you golfers we recommend close by Clay Jimmy Golf Course; lots of people from Austin-Round Rock come here. Onion Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Tejas Mobile Plaza is a splendid campground nearby, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Hornsby Bend Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
