Stevens Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest month of the year is December. This lake is so wonderful. The Bosque Trail is a good hiking trail next to Stevens Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Hill Country RV Park is a splendid location to camp. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. There is a fine hiking       trail close to Stevens Lake called the Meridian State Park Trail, and there's whitewater on North Bosque River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Stevens Lake, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Stevens Lake plunge into the 30's. If the weather is good here at Stevens Lake,                  you can go for a hike along the Angelina National Forest Trail, and Best Western Velkommen is a great location to get some rest. Stevens Lake is in the vicinity of Stevens Lake Dam which is a wonderful site undeniably worth taking a look at; after a long day outdoors Ramada Gatesville is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
