You are right.  Alot of my best childhood memories are of that place.  I am stationed in Iraq right now and cant wait to get home and just take a nice walk around the lake...Same here.  I am 29 stationed in Iraq, I don't know how many times I have fished hiked and slid down the dam.  I have a picture hanging up here of my grandfather standing by the lake holding a small mouth bass.  A lot of my best memories growing up took place at that small oasis....Same as Armando...My mom used to take us and have picnics and we would get boxes and just slide down the hills.  It's so pretty there.  Just dont go at night......
