Hiking along the Palmetto State Park - River Trail is good fun. An average amount of rainfall falls at Stahl Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Stahl Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down       it falls down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Stahl Lake. San Marcos River is a wonderful local stream, and do check out Wood Lake, it's a pretty lake.
