Buescher State Park is a magnificent local campground, and there's some flowing water nearby, Lake Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Bastrop. High temperatures at Stagners Lake through the summertime are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's;       nighttime lows in the 30's for Stagners Lake. Stagners Lake is right by the Lost Pines Trail, and Super 8 Bastrop TX is a good site to get some rest. An average amount of precipitation falls at Stagners Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July.
