The beauty of Spring Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to look at along the Prospect Park Trail, and a good close by hotel is Red Roof Inn San Marcos. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Marcos River, and wonderful hiking is available along the Guadalupe Park Trail. Why not camp at United Campgrounds-san Marcos while you're here at Spring Lake, and don't leave Spring Lake without

Pecan RV Park is a glorious local campground, and playing golf is lots of fun at SWT Golf Course. So many fun things in close proximity to Spring Lake, truly inspiring. Not far from Spring Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Aquarena Dam; if you need a site to stay Best Western San Marcos is a splendid choice. temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Spring Lake.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Purgatory Creek; there are some delightful
whitewater spots on Blanco River. Spring Lake is a good place of common precipitation; most of the rain falls through May, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
San Marcos Spring is always fun to check out, and folks from Austin-Round Rock love to come here.
