Nearby lakes? Sure, Poole Lake is near South Lake, and since you're here, you might as well go to Cow Head Hollow. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at South Lake. During your visit to South Lake you'll meet some folks from Kerrville for sure; if you've had enough of South Lake,       Town Creek Reservoir Number 4 is nearby. During the warm days of summer at South Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while South Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Looking for some flowing water?
