If you came for an overnight stay Z's Clubhouse is a great place to camp; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Austin RV Park North if you're here at Smith Lake. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Smith Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 70's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's       with temperatures at Smith Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Davis Spring Branch flows through this area; Marriott Austin North is a delightful location to get some rest. The yearly precipitation here at Smith Lake is about average; May is when you get the most rain here while December is commonly the driest month. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Brushy Creek, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from                  Austin-Round Rock for sure. You can run the rapids of Bull Creek in close proximity to Smith Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Staybridge Suites Austin-Round Rock,Tx. This lake is so wonderful. Martin Hill is beautiful and can be seen from Smith Lake, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Trailhead Park Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
