Lakes are magnificent; Round Lake is a lake that's near Singletary Lake. This place, Singletary Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Take a hike on the Purtis Creek State Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Singletary       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Harbour Light Marina is a good spot for that, and Best Western Gun Barrel City Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. Summertime highs at Singletary Lake generally tend to be in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Singletary Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. From a rainfall point of view Singletary Lake is                  a pretty normal place; May is when you get the most rain here, and August on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
