After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Dallas Plano/The Colony is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail offers hiking at its best. Shiff Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Hidden Cove Park is a great place to camp nearby, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Tribute Golf Club. Any time is a brilliant time at Shiff Lake if you fancy the outdoors. There's perfect hiking along the Arbor

| | Hills Nature Preserve Trail, and a great close by hotel is Comfort Suites Near Stonebriar Mall. Shiff Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.

lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the L B Houston Park Nature Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on White Rock Creek.
Through the summer at Shiff Lake temperatures are
mostly in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Shiff Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is
so wonderful. While you're here at Shiff Lake, you could also pop by stunning Quisenberry Lake, and you can take a little trip to Shiff Lake Dam while you're here at Shiff Lake.

| Not a bad run, a little shallow in places though. Take out point requires dragging boat up a steep incline. Also there are lots of man made obstacles to avoid, sever man hole covers protruding from the bottom. There are also 2 manmade water falls that will sneak up on you.... |
