Segler Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Segler Lake; Rock Shelter Trail is a great local trail, and get covered with water paddling on San Marcos River. Dry warm beds await you at Lockhart Inn, and hey, Cottonwood Creek is a wonderful local stream. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Lockhart Hotel & Suites is a magnificent choice, and Leisure Camp and RV Park is a good local campground.

| | Throughout the summer here at Segler Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 50's; nighttime lows at Segler Lake during the winter commonly dip into the 30's. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Segler Lake. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Onion Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Homestead Trail. | |

Segler Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest of the months is January. Good hiking is available along the Lockhart State Park Trail; why not camp at Lockhart State Park since you're here at Segler Lake.
