Camping at Leisure Camp and RV Park is always a pleasant experience, and close by you find the Lockhart State Park Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. The annual precipitation here at Segler Lake is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Summertime highs at Segler Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's while       night lows are usually in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Segler Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lockhart State Park is a wonderful place to do that, and going for a hike on the Rock Shelter Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend San Marcos River, and you can go for a hike                  on the Homestead Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Segler Lake. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Onion Creek, and if you need a place to stay Lockhart Inn is a brilliant choice.
