Seals Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Oakdale Camp N Fish is a good local campground, and if you're here, you might as well take a look at Big Kid Hollow. From a precipitation point of view Seals Lake is a pretty normal place; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest       month of the year is December. You absolutely must have a thing about Seals Lake. Why not stop at Seals Lake Dam while you're here, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Brock Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Seals Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Seals Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter                  nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose is a fine place to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of folks from Granbury here. There are some good whitewater spots on Paluxy River, and there's whitewater on North Bosque River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Seals Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Frisia Celebrations is a nice location for that, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes?
