Summertime highs at Schumacher Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Schumacher Lake. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Matcek Lake near Schumacher Lake, and going for a hike on the Lake Somerville Trailway is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so       wonderful. There's so much to do here at Schumacher Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Somerville-Nails is a fine site for that, and it's a pleasant idea to go to Brushy Creek. Schumacher Lake is a place with many visitors from Brenham, and a delightful lake like Schumacher Lake is a good place to stop at. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. Schumacher Lake is brilliant enough to spend more                  than a day at, Lake Somerville-Birch State Park is a brilliant local campground. Schumacher Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Schumacher Lake, and there are splendid locations to look at along the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail.
